Hello everyone!
My name is Max Oliva, and I’m an entrepreneur, educator, and consultant with more than 20 years of experience. I’ve co-founded Impact Hub, a global high-impact entrepreneurship network, and Teamlabs, where we offer an official university degree in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Innovation through collaborative, practice-based learning communities. I currently teach at IE Business School, IE University, and Headspring, where I help executives design and lead transformational projects that enable leaders across their organizations to innovate, collaborate, and grow.
My PhD goal is to explore how leaders can “lead with humanity in the age of AI”, identifying the capabilities, practices, and rituals that enable organizations to integrate artificial intelligence responsibly while preserving trust, empathy, and creativity. Philosophically, my research aligns with a critical-realist ontology (acknowledging both structure and human interpretation), an interpretivist-pragmatist epistemology (knowledge co-created through lived experience and applied for transformation), and a humanistic axiology (valuing ethics and wellbeing as core to leadership).
