My name is Errico Di Fabio, and I work in the education field as a teacher. I have worked in public institutions and private schools in Italy, Switzerland, and Spain. Currently, I am a middle school teacher in Italy. Through my years of experience, I have witnessed the profound and lasting impact of technology on how people learn.
My PhD research focuses on my activities, especially in the new upcoming AI revolution. Most jobs will disappear and be replaced by new ones. My aim is to give a valid contribution to the development of a new approach between student and educator. AI could be a future version of what a long time ago was the preceptor. However, I would like to give a significant contribution in guiding educational institutions in creating a valid framework which is intended to guide students in a proper use of AI.
My research approach will be based on post-positivism because a mere objective evaluation of complex phenomena is not enough to try to find the truth. It is important to take into account multiple perspectives, the influence of the context and the interpretive role of the researcher.
