Digital marketing has become crucial for brands and companies to establish an online presence, attract customers and gain their trust. Within the digital marketing field, search engine optimization and search engine marketing are the most used approaches. We will focus on search engine marketing as the key factor for online marketing and practice it with real-life exercises and team discussions. The digital marketing module aims at giving students a hands-on introduction to SEO, social media and especially Google Ads. The learning will be as practical as possible while at the same time it gives an overview of all digital marketing channels. The students will get reading assignments, cases and concrete exercises regarding digital marketing. There will be team work assignments in class and at the end a digital marketing plan created for a company of their choice.
